Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pinterest Customer Liaison to provide exceptional written support to our global user base. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for users encountering issues, seeking guidance, or providing feedback, all through written communication channels such as email, chat, and our internal ticketing system. This is a crucial role for maintaining a positive user experience and fostering a supportive community on Pinterest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to user inquiries via email, chat, and other written communication platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve user issues related to account management, technical glitches, content guidelines, and feature usage.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information, guiding users through troubleshooting steps or product features.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., engineering, product, trust & safety) while maintaining communication with the user.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of help articles and internal knowledge bases.
  • Identify recurring user issues and provide feedback to product and engineering teams.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Pinterest's products, policies, and features.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and tone.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and ticketing systems.
  • Empathy and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Basic technical aptitude to understand and troubleshoot common digital issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a tech or social media environment.
  • Familiarity with the Pinterest platform as a user.
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support platforms.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and product updates.
