Job Description
We are seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our friendly team at Dickson Realty in Reno. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a stable, low-stress workplace where a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are highly valued. As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. No prior experience is required; we are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for agents and clients.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
- Provide general information to callers and visitors.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Support real estate agents and staff with various ad-hoc requests.
- Manage meeting room bookings and ensure readiness.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in a customer service or office environment (not mandatory).
