Job Description

In this work-from-home role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality subtitles and captions for a wide array of our original and licensed content, ensuring accessibility and an optimal viewing experience for our global audience. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio content accurately and efficiently into written text.
- Create timed subtitles and captions that synchronize perfectly with on-screen dialogue and sound effects.
- Ensure grammatical accuracy, proper punctuation, and correct spelling in all subtitles and captions.
- Adhere to Netflix's style guides and technical specifications for subtitle creation.
- Review and edit existing subtitles and captions for quality and consistency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Utilize specialized subtitling software and tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any content or technical issues.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in fast and accurate typing.
- Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Comfortable with learning and using new software and digital tools.
Preferred Qualifications
