Job Description
As a Secret Shopper for Giant Eagle, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our high standards of customer service and store operations. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute directly to the improvement of our retail experience, acting as a valued member of our team without the traditional agency involvement. You will conduct anonymous visits to assigned Giant Eagle locations, objectively evaluating various aspects of the customer journey, from cleanliness and product availability to staff interaction and checkout efficiency. Your unbiased observations and detailed reports will provide invaluable insights, helping us identify areas of excellence and opportunities for growth, directly impacting our commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform anonymous visits to Giant Eagle stores within the Pittsburgh area and surrounding regions.
- Evaluate specific aspects of the store environment, including cleanliness, product display, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution.
- Assess customer service interactions, observing staff friendliness, helpfulness, and adherence to company standards.
- Document observations thoroughly and accurately using our online reporting system within a specified timeframe.
- Provide constructive and objective feedback on overall store experience.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all evaluation details and findings.
- Adhere to all guidelines and instructions for each shopping assignment.
