Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and precise Specialized Instrument Operator to join our advanced manufacturing team in New Port Richey, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining complex instrumentation to ensure the production of high-accuracy components and systems. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, adherence to strict protocols, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor specialized manufacturing and testing instruments with a focus on high accuracy and precision.
  • Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Accurately record and document all operational data, observations, and results according to established procedures.
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to set up and adjust instruments.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections of finished products or components to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, quality control standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring instruments are properly stored and cared for.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating complex industrial or scientific instruments.
  • Proven ability to perform tasks requiring high accuracy and extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and instrument control software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (schematics, blueprints, work instructions).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Commitment to safety and quality protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Instrumentation, Electronics, Manufacturing Technology).
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, medical device manufacturing, or similar highly regulated industries.
