Job Description

Join Target’s dynamic Student Online Team focusing on Social Media & Web to help amplify our brand presence and engage with our community online. This part-time role is perfect for a passionate student looking to gain practical experience in digital marketing, content creation, and online community management. You will contribute to various online initiatives, working closely with our marketing and digital teams to maintain our website’s freshness and engage our audience across social media channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for Target's social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, guest inquiries, and brand mentions, providing support for community engagement.
  • Support the digital team in updating and maintaining website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct research on competitor's online strategies and emerging social media trends.
  • Help track and report on social media performance metrics and website analytics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and ensure brand consistency across all online platforms.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X).
  • Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) for web updates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
