Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Aide with a keen interest in Green Technology to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting UPS’s environmental sustainability initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data related to our green tech projects and environmental performance. This is a crucial position for someone passionate about contributing to real-world environmental solutions within a leading logistics company, working 100% remotely from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and organize environmental data from various sources, including energy consumption, emissions, waste, and green technology deployments.
- Perform preliminary analysis of environmental data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of environmental compliance reports, sustainability disclosures, and internal presentations.
- Research emerging green technologies, sustainable practices, and environmental regulations relevant to the logistics industry.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems.
- Collaborate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of environmental activities and project progress.
- Contribute to the development of environmental awareness and training materials for internal teams.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and data management skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
