Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented VIP Airport Expeditor to join our fast-paced limo service team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this critical role, you will be the front-line ambassador for EmpireCLS, ensuring our VIP clients experience a smooth, stress-free, and luxurious transition through Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR). This is an on-site, dynamic position requiring exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a polished professional demeanor. You will be responsible for coordinating arrivals and departures, assisting with luggage, and providing personalized support to our esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively meet and greet VIP clients at designated airport locations (curbside, gate, baggage claim).
- Assist clients with luggage handling, ensuring secure and efficient transport.
- Coordinate seamlessly with EmpireCLS chauffeurs to ensure timely vehicle staging and client transfers.
- Monitor flight schedules for delays, cancellations, or gate changes and adapt plans accordingly.
- Provide real-time updates and clear communication to clients, chauffeurs, and dispatch.
- Anticipate client needs and provide personalized assistance to enhance their airport experience.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the highest standards of discretion and customer service.
- Resolve any unforeseen logistical challenges or client concerns calmly and efficiently.
- Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service, hospitality, or airport operations role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-focused approach.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using mobile technology for communication and flight tracking.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (may be required for occasional vehicle movement).
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in luxury travel, aviation, or executive transportation.
- Familiarity with Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) layout and operations.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Certification in customer service or hospitality.
