Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Data Clerk to join our team in Mississauga. This computer-based role is 100% indoor and involves maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other critical warehouse data. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced logistics environment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of information that underpins our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of all incoming and outgoing warehouse inventory.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other proprietary software to update records.
  • Generate reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory movement and data accuracy.
  • Reconcile data discrepancies and investigate root causes, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical documentation for audit purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support warehouse operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company data entry and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data entry and general computer applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations or logistics processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with preference for post-secondary education in office administration or a related field.
  • Proven ability to learn new software quickly.
