Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Weekend Cocktail Servers to join our team at a high-volume, premium venue within Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent customer service skills, and enjoy contributing to an elevated guest experience, this role is perfect for you. This part-time position offers significant earning potential through high tips in a luxurious setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting service area.
- Process payments promptly using POS systems and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and grace.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or casino setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling.
- Knowledge of various cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury or premium dining/entertainment venue.
- TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.
