Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Weekend Dishwasher to join our kitchen team for part-time evening shifts, starting immediately. This crucial role ensures the smooth operation of our busy kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and shelves.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean waste areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a continuous flow of clean dishes.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work evening shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen support role.
