Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Weekend Security Escort to join our elite team in Portland, ME. This part-time role is critical for ensuring the safety and peace of mind of our VIP clients during weekend engagements. The successful candidate will provide discreet, yet vigilant, personal protection and secure transport, upholding Pinkerton’s renowned standards of service and professionalism. This role demands exceptional situational awareness, conflict de-escalation skills, and a steadfast commitment to client confidentiality and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide close personal protection and secure escort services for VIP clients during weekend hours.
- Conduct thorough pre-event and pre-transportation route assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain constant vigilance and situational awareness to detect and respond to potential threats or emergencies.
- Implement and adhere to established security protocols, emergency procedures, and client-specific instructions.
- Operate company vehicles safely and professionally for secure client transport.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with clients, team members, and relevant authorities.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required.
- Represent Pinkerton with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and integrity at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional security or executive protection experience.
- Valid Maine State Security Guard License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and evasive maneuvers.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with the ability to react calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on discretion and client service.
- Physical fitness commensurate with the demands of the role (e.g., prolonged standing, walking, quick response).
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in VIP protection, law enforcement, or military special operations.
- Advanced training in executive protection, threat assessment, or crisis management.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Knowledge of local geography and high-security routes in Portland and surrounding areas.
- Clean shaven and professional appearance standards.
