Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of pumpjack units and associated equipment.
  • Learn to identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot system malfunctions under supervision.
  • Support routine preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid checks, and component replacements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures rigorously to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.

Required Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in how machinery works.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow technical instructions.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
