Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Google Workflow Specialist to join our Operations Management team in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing workflows primarily leveraging Google Workspace tools and other related Google cloud services. You will work closely with various departments to understand their operational needs, identify opportunities for efficiency, and develop scalable solutions that streamline processes and improve productivity. This position requires a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and a proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions within the Google ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automated workflows and solutions using Google Workspace applications (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Apps Script, Data Studio) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for workflow optimization.
  • Create detailed documentation for new and existing workflows, including process maps, user guides, and technical specifications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new Google-based tools and workflows.
  • Monitor the performance of implemented workflows, identify bottlenecks, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive, Calendar, Meet).
  • Strong experience with Google Apps Script for automation and custom integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience in process analysis, design, and optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an operations or process improvement role, with a focus on Google technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Google Workspace Administration or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Google Data Studio (Looker Studio).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in project management.
