Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Logistics Auditor with a strong data entry focus to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying logistics data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various operational processes. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for discrepancies, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our logistics information and contributing to our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audits of logistics data, including shipping records, inventory levels, carrier invoices, and compliance documentation.
- Accurately input, update, and maintain large volumes of logistics-related data into various systems and databases.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in data, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure all logistics operations adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Generate detailed reports on audit findings, data accuracy metrics, and compliance status.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data quality standards and auditing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding data requirements and audit outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for logistics data management and auditing processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry and data management.
- Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation auditing.
- Familiarity with logistics management systems (LMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Certification in data analysis or auditing.
