Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Digital Photo & Album Organizer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for systematically organizing, categorizing, and maintaining vast digital photo and album collections. This is a crucial position for ensuring the accessibility and discoverability of our visual assets, supporting various internal teams and projects. This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere in Quebec.
Key Responsibilities
- Classify, tag, and catalog digital photos and albums using established naming conventions and metadata standards.
- Perform quality control checks on existing photo libraries to identify and correct inconsistencies or errors.
- Implement and maintain an efficient folder structure and organizational system for digital assets.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand their asset needs and ensure proper archiving.
- Assist in the migration of photo assets between different platforms or storage solutions.
- Ensure all digital assets comply with internal guidelines and external copyright regulations.
- Provide regular reports on organizational progress and library status.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with digital file management and organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using cloud storage platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive).
- Familiarity with various image file formats and basic photo editing software.
- Excellent self-management and time-management skills for remote work.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- A keen interest in photography or visual arts.
- Basic understanding of metadata standards (e.g., IPTC, EXIF).
- Previous remote work experience.
- A degree or certification in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field.
