Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and licensed Part-time CCTV Operator to join our team in Casper, Wyoming. This vital role is responsible for monitoring surveillance systems in our state-of-the-art weekend monitoring room. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observation skills, a strong understanding of security protocols, and the ability to react swiftly and effectively to any unusual activity. This position requires availability for weekend shifts, ensuring continuous security coverage for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor advanced CCTV surveillance systems to detect and report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or emergencies.
- Respond promptly to alarms and unusual events, coordinating with on-site security personnel, law enforcement, or emergency services as needed.
- Document and log all incidents, observations, and actions taken in a detailed and accurate manner.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with team members and management.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment to ensure full operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, security procedures, and privacy regulations.
- Provide clear and concise reports on incidents and daily activities.
Required Skills
- Valid CCTV Operator license or equivalent state security license (e.g., Wyoming unarmed security guard license if applicable to CCTV operation).
- Proven experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer systems and surveillance software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a centralized monitoring center.
- Familiarity with various types of surveillance technologies (IP cameras, access control systems).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
