Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Shiatsu Student Trainee to join our professional studio. This unique full-time opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about Eastern healing arts who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive, hands-on environment. Under the guidance of experienced practitioners, you will receive comprehensive training in Shiatsu principles, techniques, and client care. This is an immersive program designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to become a certified Shiatsu practitioner. No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to learn and a commitment to holistic wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in theoretical and practical Shiatsu training sessions.
- Observe and assist senior practitioners during client consultations and treatments.
- Practice Shiatsu techniques under supervision on fellow trainees and practice clients.
- Learn about anatomy, physiology, and the energetic pathways (meridians) in Eastern medicine.
- Study the history, philosophy, and ethical considerations of Shiatsu therapy.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and professional studio environment.
- Engage in continuous self-study and practical application of learned concepts.
- Develop effective client communication and interpersonal skills.
