Job Description
Are you a student looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity in a fast-paced retail environment? Target in Pasco, WA is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Student Stockists to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring our sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and ready for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Organize and replenish shelves, racks, and display areas according to store planograms and merchandising standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and sales floor.
- Assist with backroom organization, including sorting and storing products efficiently.
- Support the sales team by ensuring products are readily available for guests.
- Identify and communicate any stock discrepancies or issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures and guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Target's commitment to guest service.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic understanding of retail operations or willingness to learn.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate store needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled in a college or university program.
