Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Infrastructure Support Analyst with a strong networking focus to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI infrastructure. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex network-related issues, maintaining critical systems, and contributing to the overall reliability of our AI platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for complex network infrastructure supporting AI/ML workloads, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize throughput for AI clusters.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, and data scientists to understand their infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Implement and maintain network configurations, ensuring adherence to security best practices and operational standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure incidents.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Automate routine tasks and develop tools to improve efficiency and reliability of network operations.
- Stay current with the latest networking technologies and AI infrastructure trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Mellanox).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, and other networking protocols.
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE).
- Experience with InfiniBand networking and high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data center infrastructure.
- Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
