Job Description
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and passionate about data accuracy? Hootsuite is seeking a Remote Data Validator to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Canada. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulously verifying the accuracy and integrity of business leads, ensuring our sales and marketing teams have the highest quality data to drive strategic initiatives. Your efforts will directly impact our outreach effectiveness and overall business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive validation of business leads from various sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Verify contact information, company details, industry classifications, and other relevant data points.
- Utilize internal tools and external resources (e.g., LinkedIn, company websites) for data cross-referencing and enrichment.
- Identify and correct inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated information within the CRM system.
- Document validation processes and contribute to the improvement of data quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and data analytics teams to understand data requirements and feedback.
- Generate reports on data quality metrics and validation progress.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data entry and validation, preferably in a business lead context.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Familiarity with B2B sales and marketing processes.
