Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Travel Assistant with a Global Focus to join our Stamford team. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in managing complex travel itineraries and providing personalized support for executives and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring seamless and efficient travel experiences across multiple time zones and international borders. Your expertise will guarantee every journey, from conception to completion, is executed flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, ground transportation, and dining reservations.
- Develop comprehensive travel itineraries, considering client preferences, budget, and logistical challenges.
- Handle visa applications, passport renewals, and adherence to international travel regulations.
- Provide proactive support, including real-time adjustments to itineraries due to delays, cancellations, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Research and recommend unique travel experiences, local attractions, and cultural activities.
- Maintain meticulous records of travel expenditures and assist with expense reporting.
- Act as a primary point of contact for travelers, offering 24/7 support during their trips when required.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific travel needs and preferences to anticipate future requirements.
- Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and other travel booking platforms efficiently.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Familiarity with global geography and international travel logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Global Distribution Systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Previous experience in a personal assistant, executive assistant, or travel coordinator role with international exposure.
