Job Description

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and IT infrastructure across various locations. This is a unique opportunity to learn valuable technical skills directly in the field, with comprehensive training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, configuration, and testing of telecommunications equipment, including fibre optic cables, broadband connections, and network devices.
- Support fault finding and repair activities for IT and network issues at customer premises and infrastructure sites.
- Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures while working at heights, in confined spaces, or with electrical equipment.
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring they are always in good working order.
- Document work performed, complete necessary paperwork, and update system records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing clear updates and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Required Skills
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career in IT/telecommunications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
