Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Packing Associate to join our dynamic team in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for light manual work in a fast-paced pharmacy distribution environment. As a Pharmacy Packing Associate, you will be responsible for accurately packing prescription medications and health-related products for shipment, ensuring all orders are prepared according to strict quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Weekly pay ensures a consistent income flow for our valued team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack prescription medications and health-related products into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product counts, lot numbers, and expiration dates against order forms.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, sealing, and organizing for pick-up.
- Operate basic packing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed, including stocking and organizing shelves.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform light manual labor, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy to navigate order systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or production environment.
