Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Apparel Bagging & Taping Operatives to join our clothing fulfillment team in Harrogate. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately bagging, taping, and preparing apparel items for shipment, ensuring they meet ASOS’s high standards for quality and presentation. This is a hands-on position within a busy warehouse environment, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately bag and tape a variety of apparel items according to specific product requirements and company standards.
- Inspect items for quality control issues (e.g., damage, defects) before bagging.
- Ensure correct product quantities and variations are processed for each order.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
- Operate basic packing machinery and equipment as required.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and stacking.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
