Job Description
Are you a highly motivated individual eager to kickstart a career in retail management? Target Corporation is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for our Entry-Level Shift Runner position, part of our comprehensive Management Training Program. This role is designed for those with little to no prior management experience, providing you with the foundational skills and hands-on experience needed to lead a dynamic team. As a Shift Runner, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of daily store activities, supporting team members, and delivering exceptional guest service, all while learning the ins and outs of retail leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist store leadership in overseeing daily store operations and guest flow during assigned shifts.
- Support and guide team members on the sales floor, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to standards.
- Monitor inventory, merchandising, and store presentation to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Facilitate opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the premises.
- Contribute to training new team members and fostering a positive, productive team atmosphere.
- Learn and uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
