Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, providing menus and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.

- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waitress or server in a full-service restaurant.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including alcoholic beverages.
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
