Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Container Loader to join our busy warehouse team in Rancho Cucamonga. This role offers a high hourly rate and consistent, ongoing work for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and safety-conscious. As a Container Loader, you will be responsible for manually loading and unloading containers, ensuring proper handling of goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is a critical role in our logistics operations, ensuring that goods are prepared for shipment or storage accurately and without damage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload freight and other materials from containers, trailers, and trucks.
- Verify product counts against shipping manifests and identify any discrepancies.
- Organize and stack products efficiently and safely within containers and warehouse space.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other non-powered equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including sweeping and debris removal.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly (up to 75 lbs).
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in counting and handling goods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, loading/unloading, or general labor role.
- Experience with manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends if required.
