Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EA Systems Integrity Aide with a strong focus on Cybersecurity and Anti-Cheat measures to join our team in Glendale, CA. In this entry-level to junior role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our efforts to maintain the security and integrity of our gaming systems and player experiences. You will assist in monitoring for vulnerabilities, investigating suspicious activities, and contributing to the implementation of anti-cheat strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring game systems and platforms for potential security vulnerabilities and suspicious activities.
  • Support the investigation of reported cheat incidents, system exploits, and security breaches.
  • Collect and analyze data related to anti-cheat effectiveness and security threats.
  • Collaborate with senior integrity engineers and cybersecurity specialists to develop and implement preventative measures.
  • Document findings, procedures, and integrity reports accurately and thoroughly.
  • Provide basic support for security tools and anti-cheat software.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, anti-cheat technologies, and gaming exploits.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing discussions regarding system integrity and security.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the integrity team's objectives.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with anti-cheat concepts and common gaming exploits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • A passion for video games and a genuine interest in fair play and online security.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent).
  • Experience with data analysis tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Previous experience or internships in a cybersecurity, IT support, or gaming-related role.
  • Knowledge of various operating systems and network protocols.
