Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Glass Collector to join our fast-paced team at Siberia Bar & Hotel. This is a crucial support role within our busy nightlife establishment, ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and a safe environment for both our customers and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect empty glasses, bottles, and other barware from tables, bar tops, and designated areas.
- Transport collected items to the dishwashing area safely and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of customer areas, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
- Assist bar staff by restocking clean glassware and other essentials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with bar staff to anticipate needs and provide seamless support.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Assist with general venue tidiness and waste management throughout shifts.
- Provide a friendly and approachable presence to customers, offering assistance when appropriate.
Required Skills
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy trays of glasses.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts, including late nights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting (even if not as a glass collector).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a licensed premise.
- Basic understanding of customer service principles.
