Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Showroom Valet to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining the immaculate presentation of our dealership showroom and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers. As a Showroom Valet, you will be responsible for the organized movement and parking of vehicles, providing excellent support to our sales and service departments, all within a clean and indoor environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service to start or continue their career in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a professional and friendly demeanor upon their arrival.
- Efficiently and safely park and retrieve customer vehicles, ensuring proper organization in designated areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dealership showroom, including vehicle placement and general tidiness.
- Assist the sales and service teams with vehicle preparation, movement, and general lot duties as required.
- Perform minor cleaning or detailing tasks on showroom vehicles to ensure they are always presentable.
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and dealership guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering basic inquiries and directing customers to appropriate departments.
- Report any vehicle damage or issues to management promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred, but not strictly required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, lot attendant, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with various makes and models of vehicles.
