Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Junior Data Scientist specializing in Google Analytics to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical mind to develop expertise in leveraging data to drive business decisions. You will work closely with our digital strategy and marketing teams, providing crucial insights derived from our clients’ Google Analytics data to optimize their digital performance. This role is 100% remote within the UK, offering flexibility and the chance to collaborate with diverse teams across the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, configuration, and auditing of Google Analytics (GA4) properties.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from Google Analytics and other digital marketing platforms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Google Looker Studio to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behavior and website performance.
- Support A/B testing initiatives by preparing data sets, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and client teams to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Contribute to data documentation and best practices within the analytics team.
- Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (preferably GA4).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Foundational understanding of statistical concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager.
- Familiarity with other digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, SEO tools).
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
