Job Description

We are seeking a highly responsible and meticulous Pharmaceutical Courier to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. This critical on-site role involves the secure and precise internal transport of vital pharmaceutical products, samples, and documents within our state-of-the-art facility. As a High-Security, 100% Indoor Pharmaceutical Courier, you will be entrusted with the meticulous handling and movement of sensitive medications, research materials, and controlled substances, upholding the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. This is a crucial position vital to the integrity of our supply chain and patient care, requiring an unwavering commitment to security and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and securely transport pharmaceutical products, samples, and documents between designated internal locations within the facility.
  • Adhere strictly to all security protocols, chain-of-custody procedures, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA) for controlled substances and sensitive materials.
  • Verify contents against manifests, ensure proper packaging, and report any discrepancies immediately.
  • Operate internal transport equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts) safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all transfers, including timestamps and signatures.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and security personnel regarding transport needs and issues.
  • Participate in regular security training and compliance refreshers.
  • Ensure all transfers are completed with utmost discretion and professionalism.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or security-focused role.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow strict procedures and protocols.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Clean background check and drug screening.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or high-security environment.
  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Certification in forklift or pallet jack operation.
