As an International Nurse Trainee, you will work under the direct supervision of experienced nursing professionals, gaining hands-on clinical experience, cultural competency, and a deep understanding of American nursing practices. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Henderson, Nevada, offering a clear pathway to becoming a vital member of our compassionate care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured training program designed to familiarize you with U.S. nursing standards, protocols, and patient care models.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions as permitted by trainee status and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development activities, including preparing for and passing the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability in providing care to a diverse patient population.
Required Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or equivalent).
- Eligibility to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination or successful completion of the NCLEX-RN.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and dedication to patient welfare.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and learn quickly within a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior clinical experience in an acute care setting or equivalent, even if gained during student rotations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare system terminology and practices.
- Proven ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
