Job Description

Join Netflix as a Creative Metadata Specialist, a pivotal role focused on enhancing our vast content library. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location without any phone-based responsibilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate individual to meticulously categorize, tag, and enrich the metadata for our diverse range of films, series, and documentaries. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our content is easily discoverable and accurately represented to our global audience. You’ll contribute directly to the user experience by providing precise and insightful data that powers our recommendation algorithms and search functionality. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately tag, categorize, and classify Netflix content (films, series, documentaries) according to established guidelines and taxonomies.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of metadata across all platforms and languages.
  • Research and verify information related to titles, cast, crew, genres, themes, and other relevant data points.
  • Collaborate with content, product, and engineering teams to refine metadata strategies and workflows.
  • Identify and resolve metadata discrepancies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines and quality standards for all metadata submissions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
