Job Description
Are you a motivated student looking for a flexible part-time opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment? Amazon Logistics in New Port Richey is seeking dedicated Student Fulfillment Hands to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently, from picking and packing to preparing items for shipment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Efficiently pack items according to company standards, ensuring product safety during transit.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and staging for delivery.
- Assist with receiving and stocking new inventory, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after proper training.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets and uphold high quality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Capacity to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Basic literacy skills (reading order forms, labels).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or vocational program.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or fast-paced physical role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or basic scanning equipment.
