Job Description
Are you a motivated 16-year-old looking for your first job or a chance to gain valuable work experience? Domino’s Pizza in Fells Point, Baltimore, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pizza Prep Assistants for our night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ropes of a bustling kitchen, develop essential life skills, and earn weekly payouts. You’ll be a crucial part of our team, ensuring our pizzas are prepared with the freshest ingredients and highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of various pizza toppings, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and grating cheese.
- Help with dough preparation, ensuring it meets Domino's quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and sweeping floors.
- Support senior pizza makers and kitchen staff as needed during busy night shifts.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring ingredients are stored properly and rotated.
- Handle basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to work evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mathematical skills for portioning ingredients.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to attendance.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide full training!
- Previous experience in a kitchen or fast-food environment is a plus, but not necessary.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
