Job Description
Are you a motivated 16-year-old looking for your first work experience in a dynamic warehouse environment? Amazon in Provo is seeking energetic Warehouse Packers to join our team. This role offers a unique 4-day work week option, providing flexibility to balance work with your personal life or studies. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, ensuring our customers receive their items quickly and in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Pack items securely and prepare them for shipment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management and quality control as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Basic computer literacy to navigate warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
