Job Description
We are immediately hiring for dedicated and energetic individuals to join our FedEx Ground team. This is an on-site position requiring physical presence at our Winston-Salem facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload packages from vehicles, containers, and conveyor belts.
- Scan and sort packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Adhere strictly to all FedEx safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Basic literacy skills to read labels and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physically demanding role.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
