Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist for casual, part-time weekend work at our Grand Prairie facility. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional healthcare environment, provide exceptional customer service, and support our administrative team during peak weekend hours. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm and efficient welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying appointments and insurance information.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Provide general information to visitors and resolve basic inquiries.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
