Job Description
Are you a budding UX/UI designer with a passion for artificial intelligence and a drive to learn from industry leaders? Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated AI Product Design Intern to join our innovative team. This internship offers a unique mentorship focus, providing you with hands-on experience in designing user-centric AI products, from concept to implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions for AI-driven products.
- Contribute to the creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for AI interfaces.
- Collaborate with senior designers and product managers to translate complex AI functionalities into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Participate in design critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to refine design solutions.
- Learn and apply best practices in UX/UI design, design thinking methodologies, and ethical AI design principles.
- Support the development team by preparing design assets and specifications for implementation.
- Document design decisions and rationale, contributing to a comprehensive design system for AI products.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Basic knowledge or strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven design.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- A portfolio demonstrating academic or personal design projects, even if conceptual.
- Experience with user research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Familiarity with agile development processes.
