Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Apple Search Quality Analyst to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating and improving the quality of search results across various platforms, with a particular focus on Google and Bing. Your insights will directly contribute to enhancing user experience and the accuracy of search algorithms. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate search results for accuracy, relevance, and quality according to predefined guidelines.
- Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback on search queries and results.
- Analyze user intent and identify potential issues or areas for improvement in search algorithms.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in all evaluations.
- Adapt to guideline changes and updates efficiently.
- Participate in calibration sessions and training to ensure consistent evaluation standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent understanding of web search and search engines (Google, Bing).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Comfortable with complex guidelines and ability to apply them consistently.
- High-speed internet access and a reliable computer.
- Residency in the United Kingdom for at least the past 5 consecutive years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in search quality evaluation or data annotation.
- Familiarity with various online research tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of current events and cultural trends.
