Job Description
Join TELUS International’s dynamic team as an Audio Transcriber for Machine Learning! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI development by accurately transcribing audio data. Your work will directly impact the training and improvement of voice recognition systems and natural language processing models. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who can commit to high-quality output and meet weekly deadlines. This is a 100% remote contract position, offering flexibility and weekly payouts for your valuable contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio files into text, adhering to strict style guides and quality standards.
- Identify and tag specific speech events, speaker changes, and non-speech elements as required for machine learning datasets.
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and completeness.
- Manage workload to meet weekly deadlines and project quotas.
- Communicate effectively with project managers regarding any challenges or ambiguities in audio files.
- Maintain data confidentiality and security protocols.
- Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent quality and understanding of guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent English listening and comprehension skills.
- Exceptional written English skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and style guides precisely.
