Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Fleet Logistics Specialist with a strong focus on Autonomous Technology. This fully remote role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing logistics solutions for fleets leveraging cutting-edge autonomous systems. You will play a key part in integrating autonomous vehicle technology into existing logistics frameworks, ensuring efficient, safe, and scalable operations. This position requires a blend of logistics expertise, technical acumen in autonomous systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize autonomous fleet logistics strategies, including route planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Integrate autonomous vehicle systems and data streams into existing logistics management platforms.
- Monitor performance of autonomous fleets, analyze data to identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Develop and implement protocols for remote monitoring, intervention, and troubleshooting of autonomous operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on the development and testing of new autonomous features and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards for autonomous operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on fleet performance, technological advancements, and operational recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and logistics.
- Provide technical support and training to operations teams regarding autonomous systems.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations.
- Proven experience or strong foundational knowledge in autonomous vehicle technology, robotics, or AI/ML applications.
- Proficiency with logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong data analysis skills, including familiarity with SQL, Python, or R.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to complex challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field.
- Experience with specific autonomous driving platforms (e.g., ROS, Apollo, NVIDIA Drive).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and analysis.
- Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) or project management (PMP).
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
