Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Live Nation Entertainment as a Concert Teardown Crew Member in Brisbane. This temporary role is crucial for the efficient and safe dismantling of stage sets, sound equipment, lighting rigs, and other production elements after major concerts and events. Ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, can perform heavy physical labor, and are available for late-night shifts. You will work as part of a dedicated crew, ensuring all equipment is carefully packed, loaded, and prepared for transport according to strict timelines and safety protocols. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the magic behind live music, working behind the scenes to make memorable events happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently dismantle stage structures, lighting, sound systems, and other event infrastructure.
- Load and unload trucks with heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Assist with inventory checks and organization of equipment after teardown.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members, production managers, and venue staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after teardown.
- Be available for late-night and sometimes overnight shifts, often immediately following events.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 25kg) repeatedly and for extended periods.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts, especially late nights.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in event production (e.g., wrenches, drills).
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event production, stagehand work, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Forklift operator license or experience with other heavy machinery.
- First Aid certification.
- Familiarity with concert or theatre equipment.
- Experience working in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
