Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Metadata Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of metadata for our vast content library. You will work with various internal teams to support content discovery, search functionality, and personalized recommendations. This is a 100% remote position, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and process content metadata, including genre tags, keywords, cast/crew information, and parental ratings.
- Ensure metadata adheres to established style guides and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve metadata discrepancies and inconsistencies across platforms.
- Collaborate with content operations, product, and engineering teams to improve metadata tools and workflows.
- Conduct research to enhance metadata accuracy and enrich content profiles.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and evolving metadata standards.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of metadata policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in metadata management systems or content management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Familiarity with various content types (e.g., movies, TV series, documentaries).
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Systems, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL or other querying languages.
- Understanding of data modeling and taxonomy principles.
- Passion for entertainment and deep knowledge of film/TV genres.
