Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Currency Policy Aide to join our expanding Fintech & Crypto team in Gilbert, Arizona. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic development and implementation of our digital currency policies. The successful candidate will support senior policy advisors in analyzing regulatory landscapes, monitoring legislative developments, and formulating internal policies related to cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and other emerging digital assets. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching and analyzing global regulatory frameworks and legislative proposals pertaining to digital currencies and blockchain technology.
- Monitor key policy developments, white papers, and industry trends impacting the digital asset ecosystem.
- Prepare concise summaries, briefs, and presentations on complex policy issues for internal stakeholders.
- Support the drafting of internal policy documents, position papers, and responses to regulatory consultations.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment of policy positions with business strategies and risk management frameworks.
- Maintain an organized repository of policy documents, research materials, and regulatory updates.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders on digital currency policy matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Fintech & Crypto policy team.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Finance, Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong interest in digital currencies, blockchain technology, and financial technology (Fintech).
- Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise summaries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or relevant certification in a related field (e.g., JD, MBA, CAMS, CFA).
- Previous experience or internships in financial services, policy analysis, regulatory affairs, or a legal capacity.
- Familiarity with global financial regulations such as MiCA, FATF guidelines, and SEC/CFTC frameworks.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts or data analysis relevant to blockchain.
