Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Driveway Pressure Wash Helper to join our mobile equipment team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the ropes of professional pressure washing and exterior maintenance. You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting in the setup, operation, and breakdown of our specialized pressure washing equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring our projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the high standards our clients expect. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in the transport, setup, and breakdown of mobile pressure washing equipment and tools at various job sites.
- Safely operate pressure washing wands and surface cleaners under direct supervision.
- Prepare work areas, including moving obstacles, protecting plants, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Mix and apply cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines and project specifications.
- Conduct pre- and post-service inspections of driveways, patios, and other hard surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor on site.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations team.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from our facility in Cicero.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, landscaping, or construction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power equipment.
