Job Description
Join the Amazon team in Reno, Nevada as an Evening Shift Packer. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday to Thursday schedule, providing a great work-life balance. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in our fulfillment center operations, ensuring products are accurately and safely prepared for shipment to customers. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic who are comfortable with physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders using handheld scanners and other equipment.
- Verify product details, quantity, and packaging to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate various types of equipment safely after proper training.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for operating scanning equipment (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
