Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Exterior Painting Helper to join our team in Woking. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the painting and decorating industry. You will primarily assist skilled painters with the preparation and painting of ground-level fences and walls, ensuring high-quality finishes and contributing to the overall success of our projects. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn and grow within our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead painters with site setup and preparation, including moving materials and equipment.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, which may include cleaning, sanding, scraping, and minor repairs on fences and walls.
  • Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to ground-level fences and walls under supervision.
  • Protect adjacent surfaces and landscaping from paint splatter using drop cloths and masking tape.
  • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas thoroughly after each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Assist with other general labor tasks as required to support the painting team.
